heya people we are back from are school trip witch was highnleap warren it was great fun!! We had hot choclates at night and we played man hunt!!! In the game man hunt the boys have to hide and the girl count for about 60 seconds and then we had to try and catch the boys!!!!! I had a great time!!!! I just clicked on this in my lunch hour as i was at this school during 1952/3 before moving to Uckfield. My Great Grandfather, grandmother and Mother also all came to the school when it was just 2 rooms. I remember free milk being warmed on the range stove in the class room. it is lovely to know that Villages schools are still doing well and long may Blackboys keep going. All the very best to all the children and teachers and I hope they always have fond memories when they get older of their first school as I have.

Don't panic Jamie. There will still be the same amount of room for football when the building is finished. And of course you missed great things at school! School is always great!

Just wanted to let everyone know that last year when we competed in the Dragon Boat Festival, a TV crew from Sky Television were there recording the whole event.

I have just been informed by Sky that the programme is going out this Saturday (4th March).

For all of you that have Sky you can find it on Channel 139 at 8.30pm.

For those of you that don't have it, perhaps someone from school can tape it so it's available.

At last the roof is nearly on!! Mrs Davis did well to climb on to the roof to take the picture. We had 150mm of snow here on Saturday so we got the sledges out and had fun making a really big snowman. love EMILY

The school looks particulairy good at the moment. We did this message in France at Lozza's new house! We reckon all the classes should be open plan, due to Lozza's house research. Hours of school in France are from 8.15 to 5.15(how awful)!!!!!!
No scouts found yet in France!

The French song and nativity play can now be downloaded from the bottom of the staff page. Both files take a while to download, but believe me... it's worth the wait!!!

I see things have changed a lot since I left Blackboys. New buildings, new teachers and now a new webpage ? what an achievement! Well, I have to say that the website looks great (dare I say better than Skinners? ? oh no, now they'll be after me!) and I will keep checking for any updates. And by the way, well done on coming top in the county for SAT?s at KS2! If anyone wants to know secondary school sucks ? you get loads of homework, mad teachers, worked excruciatingly hard until you keel over because your brain can?t cope anymore, but it?s worth it!

PS: Now that Mr Sullivan understands the dark art of website administrating and has become a php/html guru I can talk to him using technical terminology. You could insert an IM Protocol on the server so that the PTA can hold their meetings interactively.
