Lewes Athletics Competition

Lewes competition is an athletics competition with lots of sports to be played. You compete against other schools that are located in Sussex. There are small schools, medium schools and large schools. We (Blackboys) competed in this competition and we can’t wait to tell you more.
The day started as a normal day but really it wasn’t. We were all excited and the time came when we got our competition shirts. All of us piled into the coach and started the journey to hopefully our victory.
We were there! The adults and Sports Crew set up the gazebos and when people were in an event. Then all sat down to lunch for we missed it out at school because we left early. After our delicious lunch the races began. We did exceptionally well the whole way through. The relays were magnificent and some sprint from our school got into the final.
Overall in the small schools we came second! That was the day and came back to school to tell the news.
