Welcome from the Headteacher
Children are valued and the interaction between teachers and pupils is stimulating and fun. Pupils have good self-esteem and they know they are valued through circle time and reward boards.
No limitations put on children's learning and everyone believes that if children don't learn the way we teach we teach the way we learn. Teachers have an acute awareness of children's preferred learning styles and use this knowledge effectively. Music is used to enhance learning and create learning moods.
Displays are of a high quality; they support learning and celebrate achievement. All classrooms reflect a good sense of order. Classroom designated areas support learning and are kept tidy and purposeful. Group work is taught as a learning skill for children. We spend time developing thinking skills and learning skills so all pupils know how to learn.
Links with the church continue to develop and the school's Christian ethos underpins our interactions. Parents work collaboratively with us in achieving these aims and feel they are very involved in this partnership.
Sport, excercise and healthy living play a large influence within the school as does creating a sustanable environment where every effort is made to minimise our carbon foot prints for future generations.
THIS VISION WILL INVOLVE EVERYONE HAVING FUN AND LEARNING TOGETHER
