‘Be the best you can be’
Rooted in 1 Samuel 16 v 7 and 11, our school community opens the door for every child to belong, flourish and be ready to shine in the world.
1 Samuel 16:7 — “People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
This verse teaches us that God cares more about who we are on the inside than what we look like on the outside. People may judge others by appearance, ability or popularity, but God sees our kindness, character, courage and love. It reminds us that everyone is valued and important.
1 Samuel 16:11 — “There is still the youngest.”
This verse comes from the story of David being chosen by God. David was the youngest son and was overlooked at first, but God knew he had special gifts and potential. It teaches us that no one is too small, too young or unimportant to make a difference. Every child has unique talents and a purpose.
